Field Workshops at the Urban Farm (Golden Hour Flower Pick)

The Urban Farm offers a variety of hands-on workshops and field demonstrations on a range of topics and themes through the growing season. Workshops are open to students, staff, faculty and members of the community.

Golden Hour Flower Pick

Date and time: Thursdays on July 11th, August 8th and September 5th at 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Fees: $20 for students, $30 for public + HST

Location: 5th floor rooftop farm, 245 Church Street, George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre (ENG)

What to expect: Celebrate the summer blooms at the Urban Farm! In this evening workshop participants will learn about the new cut-flower plot on the ENG rooftop, how to harvest flowers, and some tips on designing a beautiful summery bouquet to take home.
