Fundamentals of CLO

Schedule: Session 1: Fundamentals of CLO Part 1 (Wednesday, February 19, 2025| 9am-5pm) & Session 2: Fundamentals of CLO Part 2 (Friday, February 21, 2025 | 9am-5pm)

Duration: 2 sessions x 8 hrs (16 hrs total)

This workshop will introduce students to the fundamentals of 3D design software CLO 3D and its applications in the fashion and apparel industry. Students will learn the basic CLO workflow through guided projects and live demonstrations and explore integrating the software into their existing design processes. Key features of the workshop include navigating a 3D environment, learning CLO’s construction and pattern-drafting features, applying trims, digital materials and presentation tools. Through the workshop, students will familiarize themselves with the key features and functions of CLO 3D, learn to import, edit and simulate patterns and garments, minimize their sampling time and cost, and engage with a growing community of 3D designers.
